Celebrating tax-benefit modeling: 50 years with LOTTE

Celebrating

The tax-benefit model LOTTE-Skatt is a key tool of Norwegian tax policy decision-making. To mark its 50th anniversary Statistics Norway and the Norwegian Ministry of Finance invite to a conference in Oslo 15-16 June 2023.

The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and practitioners of tax-benefit modeling to facilitate the exchange of experience and results regarding tax-benefit microsimulation models. We invite academics and practitioners to submit paper and to attend the conference without paper. We welcome presentations on all aspects of the development and use of tax-benefit models, including model presentations, applications of models for decision-making, accounting for behavioral effects in simulations, tax policy distributional effects, combining tax-benefit models with macro models, and more.
