IMA Discussion Lists The International Microsimulation
Association hosts two email lists, a discussion
list and an announcements list, both
of which are moderated, with rights of posting restricted to registered
members. Archives of both lists are open to all, and may be found at ima-discuss
and ima-news
respectively.
The IMA hosts an email discussion list to provide a forum within which members can post queries and exchange experiences. Given the size of the microsimulation community, traffic on this discussion list is not expected to rise above 10 emails a week. To apply to join this list, simply send an email to LISTSERV@LIV.AC.UK. In the body of the email include only the text highlighted in bold below, making sure to replace FORENAME and SURNAME with your own name: JOIN IMA-DISCUSS FORENAME SURNAME (e.g. JOIN IMA-DISCUSS Fred Bloggs). Please note that, as the membership of the list is moderated, requests to join the list may take up to five working days to process. To leave the list, send an email to LISTSERV@LIV.AC.UK. In the body of the email include only the following text in bold: SIGNOFF IMA-DISCUSS The IMA hosts an email announcement list to provide members with notice of forthcoming events of general interest, including the publication of major new works and an approximately biannual international microsimulation conference. Traffic on this announcement list is not expected to rise above 1 email per month. To apply to join this list, simply send an email to LISTSERV@LIV.AC.UK. In the body of the email include only the text highlighted in bold below, making sure to replace FORENAME and SURNAME with your own name: JOIN IMA-NEWS FORENAME SURNAME (e.g. JOIN IMA-NEWS Fred Bloggs).
