AIMS

Much of the work involved in creating a microsimulation model is of a highly technical nature that has limited interest to those outside of the microsimulation community. In consequence this work tends to remain buried in internal documentation and working papers, representing a loss to the wider microsimulation community and depriving those concerned of the academic recognition deserved. In response the IMA has founded this peer-reviewed online journal, the aim of which is to foster the dissemination of these specialist technical developments, including examples of their validation or benchmarking, and examples of good practice underpinning many microsimulation models.
